Visit to friends, Patti and Terry

On our way to Modesto for my reunion, we spent two wonderful days in Auberry, with Patti and Terry Ogden..a dear friend I met online thru Weight Watchers!..They have a beautiful home in the tiny town of Auberry.. in the High Sierras about 50 miles from Fresno. We spent Friday exploring the area..enjoy the photos.

50th Class Reunion

Hans and I attended my 50th Class reunion in Modesto August 28th...it was such fun seeing old friends again. One of the gals in the pictures, Jan, I hadn't seen in 50 years...check out the photos..the American Graffiti Statue brings back memories..10th street "cruising" was in my era..and the movie was about that town. The reunion was held at the home of Sue Gallo Coleman..the setting for this special event was spectacular.

Lane Victory Cruise

August 14, 04, we sailed on the S.S. Lane Victory summer day cruise. Our Running Springs neighbors, Barb and Fred, joined us, as did our g/daughter Lizzie. The cruise starts with a continental breakfast, live 40's music, catered lunch and exciting aerial attacks. This is our second year and it may turn into an annual event. July 7, 04 Family Reunion

We had a wonderful family reunion on July 7,04..Eric, Elisa, and Shelby Taylor --our nephew--and Krissy, Robert and Madison Hager-- our niece--were finally able to visit and the two little cousins were able to meet each other. Shelby was 2 in June and Madison will be 2 in Sept. It was such a fun day..we had quite a day with all our "kids" here as well as Aunt Gerry....will post more pictures soon.

Relay for Life Cancer Walk

Last Saturday, June 26, Hans and I participated in the Walnut Relay for Life walk as cancer survivors.  He is a 6 year survivor of Prostate Cancer, and I am a 9 month survivor of Breast Cancer.  Lisa and Dana were there to support us and Lisa'school, C J Morris Elementary, had a team of walkers and their booth for melanoma was open for 24 hours. Many  walkers spend 24 hours at the event. I have posted some pictures.
